Fursuit Care
A fursuit is a long-term investment. Without proper care: fur mats, backing fabrics degrade, and bacteria grows inside the fabric. A maintenance routine is required for longevity.

DIY Disinfectant Spray
Commercial sprays are diluted with potentially damaging chemicals. For cost and safety reasons, make your own spray with isopropyl alcohol and skin-safe fragrance oil.
> MIXTURE RATIO:
• Base: 70% Isopropyl Alcohol.
• Scent: 1ml of IFRA-compliant (skin-safe) fragrance oil per 1 fl oz of isopropyl.
> Why 70%? This alcohol ratio permeates bacteria more effectively than higher concentrations that evaporate more quickly. Higher ratio can also damage the lining of the suit.
> APPLICATION PROTOCOL
Only spray inside the fursuit. Disinfectant spray sanitizes the interior lining and padding that have direct exposure to sweat. Do not spray exterior fur, alcohol can degrade synthetic fibers over time.
> SAFETY COMPLIANCE
Only use IFRA compliant fragrance oils. The suit lining rests against your skin, non-compliant oils can burn your body.
